Our first Prayer for the Cities event was a huge success. On Saturday, November 21 we met at Freedom High School as a group to seek God on our knees, humbling ourselves in accordance with 2 Chronicles 7:14. During the night we enjoyed some praise music by a great band led by Holly Alejo.
After she got the worship tone going, Pastor Paul Culbertson kicked things off. Then for the next 90 minutes we prayed. We prayed for everything from unity in and among our churches to our local schools to the economy to outreach and missions efforts. It was a great night. It was also a little bit of a cold night. But that didn’t dampen our spirits. The fire of Revival was still in the air.
We are continuing to pray that God will bless Burke County with Revival, jobs, unity, healing and of course his pleasure. I hope you will pray.
